Local Issues
RPAC
The REALTORS Political Action Committee is a critical component of advocacy, and funds the support of industry issues and endorsed candidates.
The Commercial Alliance of REALTORS members have consistently maintained involvement in the REALTOR Political Action Committee, and each year exceeds the fundraising goal set by the Michigan REALTORS. The Alliance was recognized for its 2013 contributions with the “Greatest Over Goal” award, bestowed by the State Association. Fundraising is on track in 2014.
National Association of REALTORS®
As America’s largest professional trade association, the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® actively protects the interests of its nearly 1 million members daily.
From its building located steps away from the United States Capitol, NAR advocates for federal policy initiatives that strengthen the ability of Americans to own, buy and sell real property.
During the 113th Congress, the REALTOR® legislative and regulatory agenda has been focused on efforts to stimulate, stabilize, and strengthen real estate markets across the nation while protecting the business interests of members. A fundamentally sound and dynamic U.S. real estate market is an essential component of the American economy and fosters vibrant communities in which to live and work.
