The Equest Center for Therapeutic Riding is a great organization that helps many physically, mentally and emotionally challenged
individuals (mostly kids) through equine therapy.
The Need: $25,000
BIGGEST NEED CURRENTLY IS FOR THREE LARGER THERAPY HORSES THAT CAN CARRY WEIGHT.
The need for acquiring these larger horses has intensified even further. While we usually have our therapy horses donated to the program, we have not recently had those LARGER/ DRAFT breed horses we currently need with the right temperament and conformation offered as a donation. Funds to purchase these larger horses is the most urgent need presently. Also, the care and feeding of these additional horses averages $15 per day per horse.
