Thanks to the generosity of Commercial Alliance of REALTORS members, the CAR Cares Campaign has raised $38,000 for Gilda’s Club of Grand Rapids! Gilda’s Club expressed a need for a seven passenger van that will be used to assist families needing transportation to medical appointments and meetings.
Each year the CAR Cares Campaign selects a recipient for this year-end community fundraising project, and members are asked to contribute. Past recipients include Beer City Dog Biscuits, Children’s Healing Center, and The Equest Therapeutic Riding Center.
“It is awesome to see our membership pull together and help fill a need in the community,” stated 2022 President Mark Ansara. “Gilda’s Club of Grand Rapids is providing special services for those fighting cancer and their families, and we are glad to be able to help them purchase a much-needed van.”
The Commercial Alliance of REALTORS is an association that provides services for commercial real estate practitioners, with a current membership of 560 REALTOR members and 120 Affiliate members.
